Hello, Wanted to give an update for our week. We will have no practice today due to some teacher duties I have after school . We have a game Tuesday at Dixon Reagan at 5. Due to First Student(bus company) having no one available to drive us we will now be taking Warrior Wagons to the games this week. We will be leaving at 3:15 from CMS, on both Tuesday and Thursday. Yes we will be practicing on Wednesday from 3-4:30. We will also have practice on Friday. Saturday we will traveling to Rock Island on Saturday for our tournament. At this time I have not yet seen the schedule of games but will be sure to let you know when our games are and when we will be leaving. Saturday will be the end of our season. Anything else that comes up I will be sure to let you know. Thanks.

Hello parents and families, I wanted to reach out to discuss our upcoming week. I wanted to send out a reminder about the game tomorrow that has been cancelled. We will still have our game Thursday, we play at 5. Players will need to be dressed and ready to go at 4:30. On Saturday we will have our CMS tournament, Blue plays at 10 am and 2pm. Be ready to play 30 minutes before game time. Those will be our only 2 games that day. All 3 grades will be playing that day, all our games will be in the small (old) gym. As for practice this week as of right now we will be practicing Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 3-4:30. Those who are ineligible will need to remain going to study table. During home games players are allowed to sit at the end of the bench if they choose. Coach James and I spoke to players on Friday about the importance of grades and being able to play. I will try and notify of any changes as soon as I know about them.

Hello blue team parents,
Tonight's game has been cancelled due to school being cancelled, I have not been notified if it will be rescheduled or not. Continue to follow directions in the message from yesterday, I will contact if there are any further directions or messages.

Sterling Public Schools is canceling school today, Tuesday January 23rd.
This decision is based on the snow and ice wintery mix that impacted our area last night and this morning. That poor weather left our country roads extremely icy and almost impossible for our school buses to navigate. I am aware that this decision is difficult on our families, and that some of our main roads are drivable. Please know that I made this decision this morning based on the condition of our district’s country roads and would not have made it if they weren’t so severe. We bus nearly 60% of our students, therefore, if we had school today it would have negatively impacted the safety of our students and staff.
