Hello parents and families of boys 6th grade basketball. Coach James and myself (Coach Pratt) would like to say hello and invite you to a brief parent meeting tomorrow afternoon after practice, for parents of both teams. Coach and I will be passing out a parent letter that has some basic information about this season. This morning, there have been social media rumors about a possible violent event that occurred at one of Sterling Public Schools’ buildings. The SPS Administration has been in touch with Sterling Police Department and we can both attest that these rumors are not true. These rumors were most likely started due to an event that occurred early this morning involving Sterling Police Department and a stolen vehicle on SPS’ property. What is important to note is that this incident causes no threat to any SPS Student and/or Staff, and as a result, our school day will continue to progress as normal.
